DONATIONS & FUNDRAISING

Shadow Cat Advocates is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and does not receive state or federal funding. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. Please keep in mind we have zero administrative expenses. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses.

OUR WISH LIST
♥ We can always use gift cards for PetSmart, PetCo, and Costco which help us purchase much needed food and supplies.
♥ Dry Cat Food and Clumping Cat Litter (any variety).
♥ Bath towels, sheets, etc., to use for covering traps to reduce the cat’s stress level and for use during recovery after surgery.
♥ Printing services – professional printer needed for our quarterly newsletter and our brochure. All money we save on printing costs could instead be used for spay/neuter of feral cats.
♥ Cat-related items and crafts (newly made or gently used) to sell at cat shows as a fundraiser.
♥ Items to sell as part of our eBay fundraiser. Items must be in excellent condition and easy to ship (not too large). Collectible items and famous name brand items sell very well.
 

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

GoodShop is an online shopping portal that brings together leading retailers to promote charitable giving. GoodShop gives you an easy, all-in-one-place access to all the on-line shopping programs of the participating companies, and in return, each company will contribute a portion of your purchase to Shadow Cat Advocates. Shop from hundreds of well known retailers including Petsmart, Target, Macy’s, Best Buy, Staples and many others. The shopping experience and the prices are exactly the same as going to the retailer directly, but by going through GoodShop, up to 37% of the purchase price is donated to Shadow Cat Advocates!

Where does the money come from? When you shop through GoodShop at one of our retail partners, GoodShop is paid a commission. GoodShop tracks these shopping-generated proceeds and directs them to charities.

Am I paying more to shop through GoodShop? Is this any different than buying directly from the retailer? Absolutely not! The experience of shopping through GoodShop is exactly the same as going to the retailer directly – you receive the same prices and level of service. The retailers are responsible for collecting payment, shipping and returns.
